John is a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW), who has advised some of the largest companies in the UK on commercial strategy, system implementation and business development. John worked for 10 years at a leading FTSE100 company, developing and leading their commercial function to generating over $500m in annual revenue through e-commerce, data analytics, distribution and retail strategies.
In 2016 he moved to his role as Vice President of Growth. He was responsible for growth and commercial strategy, which includes multiple ecommerce and product sales. The business currently generates $100m in annual revenue. John has been involved in multiple acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships with experience in scaling and launching new businesses, in industry, and as an entrepreneur.

EJW has a BSc (Hons) and PhD in Chemistry, with over 15 years’ experience in R+D. She has managed several high-profile projects focused on sustainable energy and green materials synthesis. EJW has managed her research laboratories at the University of Aberdeen for many years, supervising research staff and serving as a tenured lecturer within the chemistry department for several years.
As the founder of RIPCELL, she secured public grant funding and launched RIPCELL’s operations in January 2023, overseeing several members of staff and optimization of the end-to-end process. She has worked to develop close relationships with distilleries and will oversee the technological viability of RIPCELL’s sustainable growth in chemical markets and beyond. Her experience ensures that the highest standards of purity and QA for end-users will be maintained.
Paul Wright FCA is a Finance Director in a £1bn turnover national volume housebuilder Group. Paul has over fifteen years finance experience in private practice accountancy and working in private and publicly listed companies across multiple sectors including construction, manufacturing and financial services. Paul has held several leadership roles and assisted several major projects over the course of his career.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW), Paul graduated from Leeds University with a BA Economics degree.
Paul has developed a 10-year financial strategy to facilitate the growth of RIPCELL and secure a robust revenue position from Y1 onwards. He will oversee the regular financial auditing of RIPCELL and accounting team.
Katie has several years of experience working in an administrative role in the oil and gas industry, preceded by a career in hospitality management. Katie has gained a broad skillset from these two industries, including: customer service, accounting, document control, purchasing, co-ordination of logistics, as well as the management of people, encompassing recruitment, training and HR.
At RIPCELL, Katie is responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, inclusive of reviewing and reconciling accounts, preparing tax reports and market research. Katie draws upon her previous experience with both customers and suppliers for liaising with specialist contractors and overseeing projects to their completion.
Mark has over 15 years of experience working in specialist operations in the oil and gas industry on and offshore. Mark transitioned his skills to work in the sustainable/green energy sector as a warehouse manager and field service engineer where he was involved in wastewater treatments and green solutions for industries varying from whiskey distilleries to the Ministry of Defence.
Mark’s role at RIPCELL utilises his knowledge and experience with stringent health and safety processes, operational experience and materials coordination. Mark is a key member of RIPCELL staff as he worked alongside Eve (CTO) to launch their primary warehouse; ensuring that their proprietary process was carried out to a high standard in a safe environment.
